Mike Garside
made buid this boat for the race Around Alone of 1998.
The hull is
moderated in its proportions with a great freeboard at bow not to
dig in.
The bottom of the boat
is in stiffened monolithique by
ribbands well to resist to the impacts, the topsides and
the deck are in sandwich nomex.
The keel is swivel,
administered by 2 jacks.
In normal navigation, the angle of the keel is 35°, in
the exceptional conditions called security conditions,
the angle has been rised to 45°.
