Construction :

- Hull made out of pre-impregnated carbon cooked at low temperature (60°C)
Single skin bottom.

- The hull shape has specifically been designed to this inclining keel.
Keel fin made out of carbon, as well as all articulation. Its tri-dimensional carbon structure has been used (Thierry Petitjean )

- 2 asymmetric centreboards in front of the mast

- Special bulb with extended laminar zone, for the flow. (RemiLaval Jeantet, Sy.Fargeas)
- Central ballast

- Classic sail plan with long sprit. This one can be rotated.

1-st stage (Charleston-cape Town) 2-nd stage (Cape Town - Auckland) 3-rd stage (Auckland-Punta del Este) Isabelle was got back by Giovanni Soldini on Fila
Isabelle arrived at Cape-Town, 3 hours behind Mike Golding on Group4 after 34jours , 21h35 ' of running on October 31, 1998 3-rd arrived, on  January 3 behind Spun and Somewhere, after 28 days, 20h , 53 ' of running. PRB tturned over on February 15 99,
