Looking back to the success of the Océanis clipper 411 , we have designed, with Armel Briand and Bénéteau, the Oceanis 42 cc, new version of the Océanis 40cc (central cockpit) .

Length 13,25 m
Width 3,91 m

The unusual arrangement of the deck and interior fittings responds well to the needs of sailors wishing more independent spaces : comfortable aft cabin, well protected central cockpit, separate kitchen.

lThe Océanis 42 cc is the heir of the Oceanis 411 for the hull shape and of the Océanis 40cc for deck and interior layout
Main cabin, aft cabin and aft deck area are more spacious.
Ballast and sailing area has been adapted to take into account this evolution.

Sailing the boat

Low heel
good stability under sail
easy to control
easy to handle

*
This stability is given by
  • her shape
  • her keel with bulb
  • her large freeboard
Heeling balance, pilot control

Well studied volumes avoid charging in the waves. The low steering loads enable the use of an autopilot.

A steering wheel with large rudder is placed on the starboard forward panel.
As an option, the steering wheel can be placed on a column in the middle of the cockpit.

Easy manoeuvres

- Sailing operations can be executed from the cockpit
- Easy way along the gangway
- Genoa Dacron 140% on furling system

- Semi full batten main sail with automatic reef system
- Mainsail bag with lazy jacks.
