For the Structures shipyard, we designed the Pogo 40 in the new spirit of offshore boats that are going back to the essence of sailing.

It is meant for those who want open sea, long journeys or transatlantic racing.

Fast boat, easy to control even with reduced crew.

Strong hull, deep ballast (3 m or 2,2 m interchangeable )

Large sail area on a carbon mast.

Hull

The hull is made of sold GRP to remain affordable.
It is structured by

  • stringers, ballast-ribs
  • two large frames that support the mast
  • Four bulkheads

The accomodations

The accomodations are designed both for life offshore and moorings.

  • large central navigation station at the companionway
  • a galley (2 possible placement options)
  • eight berths spit between the saloon and two independant cabins
  • a large toilet aft

Structures shipyard begin to built the Pogo 40 on 2003, on july, 14 sailors have placed an option on the boat in 2003, december. This new development is already successfull.
