The Open 5,70 serial production is rapidly developing. 40 units will be sailing this summer. A first gathering took place on the Lac de Der ( Champagne, France) on may 8,9, 10,11, organised by Hervé Verroust . Seven Open 5,70 were present.

Stability and unsinkability tests.

The Open 5,70 full of water, with 5 persons aboard remains upright without problems.
Moreover, you need 9 Kg at the top of the mast to keep the boat on her side with a keel angle of 90°.

Heeled at 90°, flat on water, without crew, without water inside, she carries 40 Kg at the head of the mast.

All the users who tests the 0pen 5,70 were delighted with her stability and her capability to carry the sail.
